About

As a photographer based in South London, UK, I first started taking photographs in my teens using an old Zenit 35mm camera. This is when i developed my love of landscape photography.
I soon upgraded to Nikon FM2 (35mm) cameras and lenses, and spent a year travelling around the world visiting India, Nepal, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and the West Coast of the USA.
Over the next few years I travelled regularly visiting Nepal (twice), Chile and the USA (several times)
I also upgraded my cameras from Nikon to Mamiya 6's (medium format) and a Fuji 617 (panoramic) camera.
After a break from photography for a number of years due to work and family commitments I decided a few years ago to digitise my many hundreds of 35mm and medium format slides.
This was done using an Epson V750 pro scanner. I started with the medium format slides, a process which has taken over a year to complete. The resulting scans are then imported into Adobe Lightroom (with various plugins) to balance sharpness, exposure etc. The next stage is to digitise all 35mm slide film which will be an ongoing process.
Recently I have decided to move to digital photography and have subsequently traded in my Mamiya 6 equipment to a Sigma SD1 with along with the following lenses:
10mm to 20mm ,24mm,105mm, 17mm to 50mm and 100mm- 300mm lenses.
The results of the use of this camera can be seen in the most recent additions to this website. I have also tried experimenting in with HDR software and panoramic images.
I will update the website as and when I am able to, in then mean time please enjoy
